Beautiful Baby Gifts from Tilly & Jasper

During my pregnancy, I couldn’t help browsing every baby website I could find to pick out items for our newborn and since Dylan has arrived I’ve spent countless hours doing the same while we’re snuggled up on the sofa for feeds. One website which I really love is Tilly & Jasper. It sells lots of gorgeous items from clothes to baby swaddle blankets and also caters for older children.

What We’ve Got

We have this super soft bamboo muslin and this hooded towel. The muslin is by far my favourite out of all of the muslins we have – and believe me we have a lot! It really is beautifully soft for newborn skin and I’ve been using it more than any other we have for wiping Dylan’s face as he’s got a bit of baby acne just now which I’m trying not to irritate. It’s also easily big enough to use as a cover when breastfeeding in public. It comes in a little pouch which is useful when carrying the muslin in our changing bag. It’s obviously more expensive than the multipacks you can buy in places like Primark or Matalan but it’s worth treating yourself and your baby. It would also make a fabulous gift for a pregnant friend or new baby.

Hooded towels are always cute and I like that this one is different to the animal versions you can pick up in lots of places. We have a couple of other hooded towels – a panda from Primark and a duck from Mothercare – but the one from Tilly & Jasper is our favourite just now. It’s higher quality so is softer on Dylan’s newborn skin and also has a smaller hood so is easier to wrap him in when he’s all wriggly after his bath! The hood is still way to big for him just now but it shouldn’t be long until it fits perfectly!

I’m eyeing up some of the bath and bedtime toiletries next for when I’m able to use them on Dylan’s skin. They are organic and natural so should be nice and gentle.

I’ve just wasted another twenty minutes browsing the site while Dylan is sleeping on my chest and my wishlist is growing by the second!
